| 【H3C Partners with Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) to Hold Greater Bay Area Cybersecurity Competition for Tertiary Education】

Cyber attacks are evolving every day and enhancing cyber security awareness can bolster the first line of defense. On 17th June, H3C will join hands with the Information Technology Discipline of the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) to hold the Greater Bay Area Cybersecurity Competition for Tertiary Education. Themed with “Cybersecurity Operation and Maintenance”, the purpose of the competition is to promote technical exchange among Tertiary Education academies in Greater Bay Area and enhancing awareness of Cybersecurity while strengthen participants' knowledge and understanding of incident response and threat intelligence, cultivate the next generation of cybersecurity professionals, and protect the healthy development of smart cities in a secure network environment.
All participating teams have already finished the online pre-competition training earlier to get prepared for the upcoming competition. On the event day, the participating teams will be using the H3C Cyber Range platform for resolving designated missions during the 3-hour competition, including searching for attack traces, log searching, etc. The teams will be assessed based on the cybersecurity technique ability, flag development speed etc, in an aim to evaluate the teams' performance to select the most outstanding participating teams. Prizes including champion, 1st runner-up, 2nd runner-up, 4th place and merits will be presented right after the competition. Awardees will receive gifts prizes with certificates.
